David Lopez
President / CEO / Founder
David Lopez, has over 30 years of experience in professional technical services originating in IT, serving in various roles, and at all levels. From 1986-1995, David was in UNIX network administration for the stock market industry working for Quotron/Reuters. From 1995-2000 David was a Lead Engineer and Director for the Visual Networks division of a national AudioVisual and Videoconferencing Integration company. In May 2000, David started MediaCentric™ and has developed it into one of the top national outsourcing companies specializing in Video Conferencing and AudioVisual Integration services with now over 60 employees based throughout the US.
Technician 1
Supervised installations of flat screens, projectors, projection screens, video walls various speakers, racks, rack mounted equipment, source equipment, cameras, microphones, running of various cable types, termination of various connectors, and misc. components.
Technician 2
Experienced installation technician capable of all tasks performed by a Technician 1 with minor direction. Tech 2’s have a deeper understanding of integrated systems and are also able to perform tasks such as firmware updates, intelligibility of drawings, creating cable pull sheets, commissioning support and tier 1 service calls.
Installation Lead
Lead Installers are responsible for successful project delivery and oversight of 1 or more techs during the physical installation of a project. Leads are able to build systems based on provided signal flow and architectural drawings, make decisions in the field, including problem solving, proactively tracking installation schedules and resource requirements as well as adjust installation plans to account for site conditions or other factors impacting the original scope.
Control System Programmer
A Junior or Senior control system programmer is experienced in AV systems installation, commissioning, and support as it applies to control system programming. Various control systems include but are not limited to Crestron, AMX, Extron, Utelogy, Atlona, Broadata, and SP Controls.
Service Technician
Service Technicians are able to maintain, support, and troubleshoot all types of AV integrated solutions including but not limited to: flat screens, projectors, projection screens, video walls, various speakers, racks, rack mounted equipment, source equipment, cameras, microphones, running of various cable types, termination of various connectors, and misc. components. More advanced service technicians are able to connect to systems to make DSP modifications, control system programming modifications, light networking support and troubleshoot escalated AV issues.
Project Coordinator
Light project management on or off site for jobs where the primary project manager will not be onsite to help manage and coordinate other construction trades and project logistics or where there is no project manager assigned to the job at all.
Commissioning Lead
In addition to being able to perform the tasks of an installation lead, commissioning leads are also be able to configure, commission and troubleshoot AV solutions with some light programming of certain products like DSP’s and simple control systems. Capable of networking as it relates to control systems or IP encoders/decoders. Commissioning leads are able to drive complex systems to full completion.
Project Management
Full project managers work on and off site directly with the integrator and end customer to track, coordinate and manage full project tasks such as but not limited to project schedules, equipment deliveries, construction trades, resource management, overall project execution, and deliverables.
